Flying Shy Guys are a type of Shy Guy that appear in Shy Guy Bazaar in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Tour. They ride magic carpets around and are encountered by racers as they reach a portion of the course that requires them to use their glider. If a racer colides with a Flying Shy Guy in Mario Kart 7, they immediately lose their speed and begin plummeting. In Mario Kart Tour, they lose speed but can continue gliding.
