Appears in Mario Kart Tour

The Meteor Balloons is a High-End glider in Mario Kart Tour. It was introduced in the 2021 Space Tour as the signature glider of Mario (Satellaview). As the name suggests, the glider is composed of two balloons in the shape of meteors, similar to the Cloud Glider. Hitting racers with Bloopers grants more points when using this glider.

Three variations of this glider are also featured in the game. A pink gold variant named the Pink Gold Meteors debuted alongside the Meteor Balloons in the Space Tour, a magma-themed variant called the Lava Rocks debuted in the 2022 Bowser Tour, and a gold variant named the Gold Meteors debuted in the 2023 Space Tour.

Availability[edit]

Starting with the 2022 Yoshi Tour, the Meteor Balloons is available in regular tour pipes. However, it is not part of the Daily Selects lineup.
