Special pipes in Mario Kart Tour are pipes in each tour starting from the 2020 Yoshi Tour that are different from the spotlight pipes, offering an opportunity to acquire drivers, karts and gliders from past tours, normally with a better chance than the first time. On rare occasions, there can be two special pipes in a tour. New drivers, karts, and gliders are also sometimes included in special pipes. Starting from the Battle Tour, special pipes are removed in favor of the Spotlight Shops.
