Hello. Please keep in mind that when naming game titles, they must be italicised (Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, not Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon). See MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Italicizing titles. (We also use the American name on articles, by the way, so we don't use Luigi's Mansion 2).

Also, remember to capitalise proper nouns; this includes names like King Boo and the Luigi's Mansion 3 locations (you'll find them on the game page I've just linked). K.K. Slider costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 20:24, October 30, 2019 (EDT)

A few other things:

 • On mainspace, we don't write in second-person, so we don't use the word "you". Instead, this should be "the player" or the character's name (Luigi in this case).
 • Grammar is important when editing the wiki. Please remember to capitalise the first word of each sentence and end each sentence with a full stop.
 • Non-game titles like Poltergust G-00 don't need to be italicised.

I'd suggest giving the Manual of Style a read when you have time. K.K. Slider costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 08:07, October 31, 2019 (EDT)

Images[edit]

Hello, Gooigi7863. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the aboutfile template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded coding is shown below.

Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line of the variable(s) you don't use. If you do not wish to use the template at all, then it is acceptable to simply remove it before you upload the file. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using aboutfile incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hello, Gooigi7863. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:

Images Audio/video files

When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use:

or

Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Thanks for uploading plenty of images, but please don't just leave the file's text box as-is. You can remove the aboutfile template altogether if you want, but please do categorize your images with and choose a licensing template (in this case, screenshot). Got your email. Even if you just copy-paste this onto every file, it'll be fine:
Summary
Licensing
game-screenshot
Also, the file names aren't great. "Maxresdefault", hyphens, and parenthesis should be avoided. If you'd like, I can move the files and take care of everything. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:54, October 31, 2019 (EDT)
Okay, I'll take care of the file names in a bit. I know we have a lot of standards, but we're here to help ^^ Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 13:19, October 31, 2019 (EDT)
So, yeah, take a look at the new names I gave the files. Name should be clear, like "File:LM3 (room) (color) Gem.jpg" is how I did it, though your "File:Luigismansion37fPurpleGem.jpg" and "File:LM37FGreenGem.jpg" type of names are also clear enough. Probably should've linked this to you sooner, but you can take a look at our image use policy for more information. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 13:57, October 31, 2019 (EDT)
I also have a guide located here if you would like more explanations. Trig Jegman. - 14:01, October 31, 2019 (EDT)
