- For the 35th anniversary of the Game Boy's release, launch titles Super Mario Land (pictured), Baseball, and Alleyway were released on Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online on May 14, 2024.
- Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition was announced for the Nintendo Switch and is set to be released on July 18, 2024.
- On May 7, 2024, Nintendo announced that the successor to the Nintendo Switch will be unveiled by the end of March 2025, in addition to a Nintendo Direct presentation set for June 2024 revealing information on Nintendo Switch games releasing in the second half of 2024.
