Faiachū
A Faiachū from Donkey Kong for the Game Boy.
First appearance Donkey Kong (Game Boy) (1994)
Variant of Fireball (Donkey Kong)

Faiachū are Fireball enemies with feet in Donkey Kong for Game Boy. They first appear in the Big-City in Stage 1-5. Faiachū circle around the area, and also walk up walls and ceilings. They defeat the player if they hit them. Faiachū also cannot be taken out by Trash Cans. In the Iceberg world, Faiachū melt Ice Blocks as soon as they walk over them, clearing the path for the player allowing them to reach other areas of the level. A fast one appears in Stage 7-11.

Language Name Meaning
Japanese ファイアチュー[1]
Faiachū
From "fire" and「チュー」(chū, an onomatopoeic word for squeaking mice), possibly due to having similar behavior to Rappy (among others) or to imitate the common "squeak" of new shoes
