Star Ship is the final court of any tourney in Star Cup in Mario Sports Mix. After players win the semi-finalist, they meet with their opposition, disguised as Ninja. Ninja soon steals the Star Cup trophy and heads for the Star Ship. The players' characters then chase Ninja into the Star Ship, where they participate in a final battle before receiving the Star Cup trophy. This court, in tourney mode, is always played against Ninja and White Mage.

The Star Ship can be played in all sports. The Star Ship is very similar to Mario Stadium in terms of game mechanics; there are no special hazards or features that can alter the gameplay in this court. The Star Ship is accessible only once after players beat Ninja and White Mage in one corresponding sport.
