Experience points, usually just referred to as Experience or XP, are points used by characters in RPGs such as Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario, and other games like Final Fantasy.
Usually, the amount of XP needed to level-up is either doubled or exponentially increased, making it increasingly difficult to do so.
