"Blue Shell Blues" is a song performed by British band The Brett Domino Trio to promote the release of Mario Kart 8 in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The music video for the song was released on May 29, 2014, one day before the game's European release date, on Nintendo UK's Wii U YouTube channel. As the name suggest, the song is themed around the Blue Shell item.
