This article is about the inanimate statues found throughout the Sand Kingdom. For the rideable variant, see Jaxi.

Template:Species-infobox Jaxi Statues are sculptures resembling Jaxi and are found in the Sand Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. At least one can talk and move, which lets Mario ride as long as he pays a one-time fee of thirty coins. It is strongly suggested, however, that more than one Jaxi can move. Several Jaxi Statues are found at the top of the Inverted Pyramid. There is a missing Jaxi Statue, however, but is stated to be the former resting spot of the moving Jaxi,[1] who recognizes the surrounding statues as family.[2] Taking the Jaxi to this spot awards Mario a Power Moon. On the Inverted Pyramid, Mario can interact with the Jaxi Statues by throwing Cappy on their tails to have them produce a coin, but one does release a Power Moon.Additionally, there is a single Jaxi Statue on a pedestal facing an empty slot. There, Mario can take the rideable Jaxi to have it face the statue, and he can receive a Power Moon as a gift of gratitude from the Jaxi.

One of the purchasable souvenirs from the Sand Kingdom is a replica of a Jaxi Statue. There are also tiny Jaxi Statues on the souvenir of the Inverted Pyramid.
