Three standard Pickups and one large Pickup in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars

A Pickup (or Girder Pickups) is a special type of item in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars. They appear as small pieces of ladders, conveyors, and girders. Pickups are semi-common, but they are vital to complete levels. When a certain kind of pickup is collected, the number of girders, conveyors, or ladders increases by one, allowing the player to build longer pathways for the Mini Marios and the other Mini Toys. Additionally, there are larger forms of these pickups that give the player up to five girders, conveyors, or ladders, although they are less common.

Additionally, pickups can be used in custom levels in the Construction Zone of Mini-Land Mayhem and Workshop mode of Tipping Stars, after they are unlocked by completing the worlds each type first appears in. However, the amount of pickups that can be used at a time is limited; small pickups can be placed around the level in fifteen times, while large ones can only be placed in them ten times.
