Egg Ball
Egg Ball is a Special Move used by Yoshi in Mario Superstar Baseball. It can be use while pitching and batting. While pitching, Yoshi will toss a Yoshi Egg at the batter, which will bounce around like crazy, and make it very hard for the batter to hit the ball. The Egg will bounce in a random direction every time, only further complicating the hit. While batting, Yoshi will hit a Yoshi Egg into the field, which will also bounce around like crazy, making it difficult to catch the ball. What makes it worse, is that the ball slows down, and stops bouncing very quickly, which will prevent an instant Out, most of the time. In Challenge Mode, Yoshi first had to buy the Egg before he could use this move. However, in Exhibition Mode, Yoshi is free to use this move without the item, so long as he has enough star power. Birdo's Weird Ball works the exact same way.
