Pirate Goombas are Goombas with green pirate hats in Mario Party 8. They appear in Goomba's Booty Boardwalk near the end in a ? Space. Landing on the ? Space will cause the Pirate Goombas to walk out of their crashed ship and surround the character then throw him or her back to the start.
Pirate Goombas are the pirates of Captain Goomba, and they don't actually try to be mean to the character that landed on the ? Space. They're actually guarding Captain Goomba.
