Purple Strike

The Purple Strike is a kart first introduced in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, but it was nameless until Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. It is owned by Waluigi and features increased speed at the cost of acceleration in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. In Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, however, it offers increased handling rather than speed. It has the Body Style similar to a bike and bears an appearance similar to the Waluigi Racer from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and The Duke from Mario Kart 8. Many believed these karts were bikes but since Mario Kart Wii, the game for Wii was the first to actually have bikes that were considered Karts. It is based off the Zipper from Mario Kart DS.
