Duelo Candy

The Duelo Candy is a blue Candy in Mario Party 8. It has a picture of Duel symbol on the wrapper, and when players use it, they transform into a flaming version of themselves and hit two Dice Blocks. If they reach an opponent's space, they must stop on that space and compete in a random duel minigame with him or her. The winner throws a dart on the Dart Wheel to determine the coins or Stars received from the loser. Duelo Candy are not found in Koopa's Tycoon Town due to the unorthodox method of collecting Stars on that board.
A Duelo Candy is also awarded to the last-place player during the Chump Charity event, and again, except in Koopa's Tycoon Town, where he or she will instead receive thirty coins (20 for the last place team).
Even though this candy allows the player to roll two Dice Blocks (like the Twice Candy), unlike the Twice Candy no coin bonus is given for rolling doubles. Additionally, after dueling the other player, the player who ate the candy will not continue the number of spaces shown on the Dice Block, but will lose their dice rolls (number of spaces) and stay on the same space as the other player instead.
