This is a list of glitches that occurs in Mario Sports Mix

Animations glitches

In Volleyball, if the player do the special shot while the character is in mid-air, the animations will bug, much likely because the bones of the character was planned to be used in the floor. Most notable characters that bugs animations are Daisy, Peach, Ninja, White Mage and Luigi.

Ball sound glitch

In Dodgeball, after a special shot is done or while a player is going out, if the player manages to catch the ball before the ball K.O's a team member, while the "Victory" animation displays, if the player press Z, the charge change sound will be heard.

Beat the game in 5 seconds glitch

In the file menu, the player needs to stay the cursor in one of the save files, and while stayong the cursor, press firstly the C and 1 butttons 2 times, the Z and 1 buttons 3 times and all the listed buttons 4 or 5 times. If the player did it correctly, the four crystals will appear in the save file and all will be unlocked.

Black Mage Special Shot Glitch

This glitch can only be done in Dodgeball and Volleyball. When Black Mage is doing his shot, the player needs to throw a banana peel or a shell in his/her team's side, and when Black Mage is shrinking the player, he/she needs to be damaged by it's item. If did corrrectly, the player's character will not be shrinked.

Dodgeball Glitch

To do this glitch, the player needs to be Peach, Cactuar, Black Mage or Waluigi. The player needs to direct one of the listed characters to the other side of the course (the opponents' side) and stay next to the captain's line. One of the player's team member needs to pass the ball to the one in the other side. If did correctly, the player can attack any character on the other opponents' side.

Peach's special server glitch

This glitch can only be done in Wi-Fi. The player needs to be Peach and play Volleyball as her. When the game starts, the player should serves as Peach like this: Go back using the nunchuck, press Z and serves. If done correctly, the ball will pass inside the net. This glitch can only be done as Peach.

Special servers glitch

This glitch can be done anytime in Volleyball. The player needs to do the same process of the Peach's special server glitch, but this time as Mii, Yoshi, Daisy, Mario, Ninja, Black Mage, White Mage Diddy Kong or Luigi. If done correctly, the ball will not pass over or inside the net but this time, you will be able to touch the ball more than one time instead of serving normally.

White Mage's tiara glitch

Sometimes when the White Mage isn't close to the camera, her tiara will disappears.

White Mage or Daisy? Glitch

Sometimes in early versions of the game, if the player plays any minigames of Hockey as White Mage and Daisy in the same team, the graphics will display incorrectly, and the two characters would be merged.
