Willy using the Hand-Power Save.

The Hand-Power Save is a Defensive Power Shot used in Mario Tennis: Power Tour. It requires L1 ESP, which can only be acquired by the Instinct Drill. It's a later Power Shot in the game, as the Instinct Drill is only unlocked after beating the Island Open. It is used by Willy in the story mode. When utilised, the user will send out a magic hand to brings the ball back to them. It doesn't go very far, and is weaker than the Psychic Save.

Trivia

  • The use of a magic hand resembles Psynergy from the Golden Sun series. This is likely a direct reference, as Mario Tennis: Power Tour and the Golden Sun series are both developed by Camelot.
