Cocopīes[1] (ココピー) are a species of pig-like creatures in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.
They are resided on Palm trees and serve as a mini-boss in the game. When Donkey Kong conforts a Cocopi, it will hurl coconuts and chestnuts at him from the tree, if struck by the one, Donkey Kong will lose a heart. Donkey Kong can deflect the objects with his Sound Wave Attack and punch one back at the palm tree. If hit three time, the tree breaks apart and Cocopi is defeated.
Cocopies first appear at end of the second level of Watermelon Kingdom, Desert Oasis and later appear in Cactus Mine and Magma Coliseum which two appear in the level.
