Munchers chasing Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong
A lot of Munchers chasing Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong.

Munchers are spider enemies that appear in the Wii game, Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are relatives to another species of spiders, Skittlers. Munchers are black spiders that appear in large groups. They make a star appearance in the Forest level, Muncher Marathon. In this level, they chase Donkey and Diddy Kong after they break open their eggs. They do not leave them alone until the near end of the level. When moving towards the Kongs, a spider noise can be heard. If the Kongs make contact with these arachnids, they will lose a life. Munchers are indestructible, meaning there is no way to defeat them.
