Template:Level Skidda's Row is the fourth level of the third addition to the Donkey Kong Country series, Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is also located in Lake Orangatanga. The name of the level is derived from "skid row."

Although the Kiddy Kong and Dixie Kong are far from reaching K3, they still tackle this slippery snow level early on. Skiddas and Krimps make their first appearance here. A single Knik-Knak is also present. They need to dodge all these foes while they slip and slide on the icy slopes. Sometimes, the heroes encounter Skiddas on the roofs of snow-capped houses in their way. As the Kongs travel through the level, a blizzard occurs, and it then ends as the Kongs reach the goal.

Level Layout

When the level begins, the Kongs will travel up and down some small slopes and climb over a Skidda infested rooftop, grabbing the letter K. They should continue down the path and attack some enemies in the chilly area. Soon, they will cross some small gaps and slide along some more hills until they finally find the letter O. Moving on, they will head up some more snowy hills and shortly after find the Star Barrel.

About halfway into the level, the heroes will clamber over a snow-covered rooftop and tread down a large hill to find some abysses. As they cross these pits, they will claim the letter N. Farther on, the apes should carefully climb up some ledges while avoiding Skiddas, and then pass a small snow bound house. Afterwards, the group will bounce on a Knik-Knak to cross a small alcove and climb over another rooftop. They will soon head over a small hill, folled by some pits, to find the letter G. After making their way up one more slope, they will find a flagpole. The level will end when they raise its flag.

Secrets

K-O-N-G Letters

  • K: The Kongs can find the letter K to the right of the first snow-covered house.
  • O: The letter O floats before the final pit before the Star Barrel.
  • N: Shortly after passing the level's Koin, the primates approach a pair of abysses with the letter N on the platform between them.
  • G: The letter G hovers over the second-to-last pit in the level, located shortly before the End of Level Flag.

Bonus Levels

  • Just before the letter O, the apes can discover a Bonus Barrel as they slide down a slope. After jumping into this barrel, they are sent to a Bonus Level, where they must defeat four Skiddas on some more slopes with 10 seconds. After the enemies are gone, a Bonus Coin appears at the end of the stage, if they are defeated the foes within the time limit.
  • Near the end of the level, the Kongs should find a Bonus Barrel above two Skiddas on a rooftop. If they bounce on one of the Skiddas or use their Team-up move, they can access the barrel and enter a Bonus Level. There, they need to move along some slippery platforms while dodging some enemies. If they get to the end of the stage within 15 seconds, they can find a Bonus Coin to grab within the remaining time.

DK Coin

  • After passing the Star Barrel, the Kongs can find a Koin holding the DK Coin in an alcove. They should defeat the enemy to get the special coin. To do this, the need to pick up a nearby Steel Keg and stand on the Kremling's shield. If they throw the barrel into a nearby wall, it can bounce off of it and hit the foe in the side, defeating him. This allows the Kongs to claim the DK Coin.

Warp Barrel

  • Kiddy Kong should throw Dixie north-west while on top of the first snow-capped house to make her land in a hidden Warp Barrel that takes them both to the End of Level Flag.
