The Kamek Capsule first appeared in Mario Party 5, where it could be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for ten coins. Whoever landed on a space containing the capsule made Kamek appear on his broomstick and use his magic to shuffle everyone's capsules also it resembled a Pokeball from the Pokemon series. In Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7, it became the Kamek Orb. It costs ten coins at the Orb Shop. Opponents that landed on a space containing the orb summoned Kamek, who used his magic to give control of one of the Character Spaces he/she placed on the board to the owner of space the opponent landed on.
