In ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'', Piantas are spectators in [[GCN Peach Beach|Peach Beach]] and [[GCN Daisy Cruiser|Daisy Cruiser]] as well as during the award ceremony in the former course. In ''[[Mario Kart DS]]'', Piantas are spectators in [[DS Delfino Square|Delfino Square]], which has a stone Pianta statue around the first loop of the race. In ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]'', Piantas spectate in two newly added courses, [[Wii Coconut Mall|Coconut Mall]], [[Daisy Circuit]] as well as two [[classic course]]s, {{classic|DS|Delfino Square}} and {{classic|GCN|Peach Beach}}, and the battle course [[Delfino Pier]]. In Coconut Mall, Piantas also indicate which is the correct escalator for racers to use, and one yellow Pianta is the shop assistant of [[List of sponsors debuting in Mario Kart Wii#Delfino Dream|Delfino Dream]], which can be passed through as a shortcut.
