Dragon Palace is a battle course that appears as one of the new maps in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It is Chinese themed, similar to Dragon Driftway. At the center of the course there is a courtyard, resembling a Siheyuan. Two statues of dragons resembling Gobblegut are at the center. Koopa Troopas can be seen practicing kungfu and chanting. Racers can access the pagoda, by using the path around the pagoda, or by breaking through the screen doors. Inside the pagoda is a circular room and stairs to access the second floor, which leads to a ramp where the players can drop down to the first floor. The music of the stage is slightly remixed from Dragon Driftway.[1] In the courtyard area, vocal calls can be heard being made in time with the music.
