Variant of Donkey Kong's robot

Cannon Kongs[1] are Donkey Kong's robots that appear as enemies in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars and Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. They first appear in Runaway Warehouse. Similarly to Circus Kongs, Cannon Kongs cannot hurt the Mini toys directly. Instead, they suck the toys into their cannon-based body and blast them forward in the direction that they are facing. This makes them similar to cannons, though they do not change direction and cannot be manually timed. While in the air after being fired from a Cannon Kong, Minis can destroy enemies and crumbling blocks or stun Circus Kongs.

Like Circus Kongs, Cannon Kongs can be stunned with hammers. Players can also stop the Minis after being launched by setting up Red Girders or other objects in front of the toys.
