Layout

The player starts the level on the bottom-left portion of the map. At the top is Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr., of which the latter will occasionally throw Poison Mushrooms in the area. Mario must use the ropes to place all of the keys into their keyholes (in a manner similar to the Chain Scene from Donkey Kong Jr.) while avoiding Birds in order to lock Donkey Kong Jr. in a cage and thus complete the level. Should Mario come in contact with one of the poison mushrooms, he will be forced off the ropes, which could be potentially fatal if he lands on Bird, or falls from the maximum height climbable.
