- When the player exits Funky's Fly 'n' Buy while playing as Funky Kong, Tawks sometimes says, "Give 'em the old banana slamma, dude!" (pictured) which is a reference to Donkey Kong's catchphrase in the Donkey Kong Country television series.
- The Zess Frappe's description erroneously states it replenishes 20 HP when it actually replenishes 20 FP.
- Jolly Roger Bay is the only main course in Super Mario 64 that does not have a Star Marker.
- In Super Mario Maker, there is a 1% chance that a Weird Mushroom spawns in place of a Super Mushroom.
