According to [[Emily]], she's an incredible player with much potential. When she loses to [[Clay]] or [[Ace]], she considers the loss to be an eye-opener and promises to practice harder so she can improve. Her doubles partner is [[Micki]]. It's stated that she's a somewhat new player, since she advanced through junior class and beat Gary before Roy's play damaged her confidence. When called out on it by Micki, she gets upset but then realizes the truth. Kyoko seems a bit envious but not jealous of Clay's success.
