The Penguin King is a supporting character from The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the ruler of the Snow Kingdom. He is voiced by Khary Payton in the English dub of the film.
In the film, he leads his army of penguins into battle when Bowser and his Koopa Troop attacks. However, he and his army fail as Bowser and Kamek easily overpower them. The Penguin King and his army are later trapped in cages suspended high above lava in Bowser's Castle, along with Luigi, a Lumalee, some Goombas[1] and, later on, the Kong army.
