When the city's gates open, the penguins attempt to fight the [[Koopa Troop]] by throwing snowballs at them, but they fail. The penguins are then defeated using [[Kamek]]'s magic, and Bowser uses his [[Fire Breath]] to destroy the citadel and reveal the ? Block, which he hits to obtain the Super Star. The kingdom's inhabitants are then imprisoned in cages inside a volcano.
