The '''Koopa General''' is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Kamek) of ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Movie]]''. He is voiced by [[Scott Menville]].


He is a [[Koopa Paratroopa]] sporting a blue-colored shell with spikes, blue boots, a blue-plated gorget with shoulder guards, and a blue spiked helmet with [[Bowser]]'s symbol on it. He is the captain of the [[Koopa Troop]], and is portrayed as much more stern and rigid than his soldiers. He is first seen guiding the Koopa Paratroopas as the army attacks the [[Snow Kingdom (The Super Mario Bros. Movie)|Snow Kingdom]], and is seen restraining the [[Penguin King]] after [[Kamek]] forces him aside. He later seen with the Koopa Troop at a celebration on Bowser's airship, where he listens to Bowser's victory speech. Later, he interrupts Bowser and Kamek acting out the former's marriage proposal to [[Princess Peach|Peach]] and informs him that the [[Great Kong Army]], joined by Peach and [[Mario]], intends to surprise them by taking a shortcut via [[Rainbow Road]]. The Koopa General then guides the counter-offensive by riding a giant bulldozer with maws towards Mario. Determined to kill Mario, he destroys Mario's kart, but he manages to hide from the Koopa General on his bulldozer and get onto [[Donkey Kong]]'s kart. After Mario and Donkey Kong blow the Koopa General's vehicle up with a [[Rocket Barrel]], he emerges unharmed from the explosion. Enraged, he throws away his spear and helmet and retracts into his [[Spiny Shell (blue)|blue shell]], then flies at the two and successfully explodes on them, destroying the road and making them plummet to the sea below; however, his plan to destroy them failed, when Mario and DK managed to make it back to the surface again with teamwork. He is not seen again for the rest of the film.
