However, in TrackStudio, the arrow field looks like a SNES Rainbow Road Arrow, not a red chevron.

Arrow fields are a course feature in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, introduced in the Booster Course Pass. They are holographic, scrolling chevron arrows that extend over the exits of junctions in the track. Attempting to drive past one will cause Lakitu to pick the player up, similarly to falling into a pit or going out-of-bounds. Arrow fields are distinct from simple physical barriers in that they are in different locations on each lap, changing the route of the course as the race continues.

Most courses have red arrow fields, though N64 Kalimari Desert and Tour Bangkok Rush's arrow fields are turquoise. The former's arrow fields are also unique in that one of them appears large from far away, but shrinks to fit within the player's view as they approach it.

Courses with arrow fields

All courses with arrow fields, except for DS Peach Gardens, are courses that had multiple routes in Mario Kart Tour.
