They are a glowing bump in the floor that can be defeated with a [[Ground Pound]]. Lurkers can be temporarily stunned by throwing [[Cappy]] at them. When defeated, a [[Power Moon]] appears. In total, there are three Lurkers.

Lurkers in the Sand Kingdom and in the Snow Kingdom are found in the boss battle arena after the boss was defeated. The one in the Seaside Kingdom is found in the sub-area underwater.
