Crumble Blocks in Area 7-1

Crumble Blocks[1] are blocks that appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!. They are made of small, loosely packed pale brown rocks. In Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, they are introduced in Room 2-7 of Tropical Island. A Crumble Block crumbles and breaks shortly after a Mini or an enemy walks over it. In the Construction Zone, they can be used in the Tropical Island construction kit, Special Kit 1, Special Kit 2, and Special Kit 3.

In Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!, Crumble Blocks are introduced in Area 3-2 of Teatime Twirl. They behave identically to their previous appearance; however, in this game, they can also be destroyed by shooting a Mini from a Cannon, as well as if a Thwomp falls on them.

Similar blocks known as rocks appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars; however, unlike Crumble Blocks, rocks do not crumble if a Mini walks over them, and can only be destroyed by a Thwomp or a Mini fired from a Cannon or a Cannon Kong.
