This is the first stage in stage mode to introduce rotating cannons, even though they are made available earlier (e.g.: the Bone Goomba and Conkdor assistants). When matched, rotating cannons will shoot a cannonball in the direction the muzzle is facing, but when a capsule lands without making a match, every rotating cannon will rotate 90 degrees clockwise. In this stage, the border of the square consists of rotating cannons, fully frozen viruses, and Brick Blocks. In the middle, there is another rotating cannon in between rows and columns of ice containing viruses and electric exploders.

World 25 from Dr. Mario World
Game Dr. Mario World
Level(s) 44
<< List of worlds >>

World 25 is a forest-themed world in Dr. Mario World. The first area is available as of 10 PM PT on Feb. 10, 2021[1], while the second area, challenge stages and special stage are available as of 10 PM PT on Feb. 24, 2021[2].

When an area is cleared, Goombas and Waddlewings appear. The viruses featured in the regular stages are red, blue and yellow.

Starting with 32 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (32). The only colors available in this stage are red and yellow.

In this stage, the border of the square consists of rotating cannons, viruses covered in ice cubes, and Brick Blocks. In the middle, there is another rotating cannon in between rows and columns of ice containing viruses and electric exploders.

Shells are found in rows #1 and #9 while pop cannons are found in the leftmost and rightmost columns. All Brick Blocks contain purple coins (caged and uncaged).

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

 1. The 6 coins in rows #8 and #9.
 2. The remaining 6 coins in columns #8 and #9.

Starting with 30 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (66).

In this stage, the cages form two curves separated by the middle column, where they are surrounded by Brick Blocks. The cages contain viruses and rotating cannons. The lock blocks are frozen and are located at the top, the left and the right. A rotating cannon initially pointing to the top is at the bottom of the middle column and another is fully frozen at the top. Most of the Brick Blocks contain hidden viruses, but a few of them in row #5 contain hidden electric exploders and a rotating cannon.

The last stage of the first area and starting with 40 capsules, the objective of this stage is to collect all virus coins (26) and collect all keys (1).

In this stage, the middle column consists of a key, with its door located at the last-revealed row within a row of Empty Blocks, and crates are in between them. The virus coins are behind groups that from bottom to top, consist of half-frozen viruses, colorful crates, half-frozen viruses, barriers, half-frozen viruses, rotating cannons, and floatie viruses. In the rows consisting of rotating cannons, there are a flask and a shell handy bottle. The filled flask in this stage will shoot out colorful crates.

This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 9 lines are introduced.

When cleared, the rest of the first area in the world map gets cleared of viruses. Players also obtain the Goomba assistant upon completing this stage.
