Its name is a play on "sweet dreams", a phrase used to tell a person to sleep well. Placed on top of a giant picnic mat, Sweet Dream is surrounded by lush bushes. Players travel on top of different types of cakes and candy to get to the [[Star (Mario Party series)|Star]]s. One major feature of this board is the two shortbread bridges that collapse if a player crosses them. When this happens, another bridge forms in a different direction.
