Not to be confused with Bucky.

Template:Species-infobox Bakkies[1] are bat enemies in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. When they appear, Bakkies lie in wait, hanging upside down on the ceiling of the area. If Donkey Kong gets too close to a Bakky, it will swoop at him, attempting to damage the Kong. Upon using the Sound Wave Attack, it will be stunned, and will float in midair for a few seconds. Once the effect wears off, it flies back towards the ceiling. If Donkey Kong grabs it, he can kick the Bakky at the ceiling, causing it to explode and leave three beats behind. If any other Bakkies are in its path as it flies up, they will be defeated as well.

Bakkies first appear in Massive Canyon and later appear in the Cactus Mine.

A variant called Ice Bakkies appears in most ice-themed levels. Another variant called Fire Bakkies appears even later in volcano-themed levels. A third variant exists, known as Black Cliones, which appears in three water stages in the game: Pristine Sea, Sweet Paradise, and Arctic Plunge.
