The Mushroom Powder is one of Toad's special items in Mario Kart Arcade GP and Mario Kart Arcade GP 2.
Upon being used, the Mushroom Powder will drop behind the user's kart, producing a purple cloud on the racetrack. Any racers that run into the cloud will lose speed and will also gain a random status effect chosen from the status effects associated with Mushroom items, such as the Invisible Mushroom or the Heavy Mushroom.
While the Mushroom Powder is a bag emblazoned with a Poison Mushroom icon, an unused alternate model of the Mushroom Powder exists which depicts it with a generic purple Mushroom instead.
