This article is about the Standard tires. For other uses of "Standard", see Standard.

The Standard tires (known as the Normal tires in the British English version) are a set of tires in Mario Kart 7. As their name states, the Standard offers no stat boosts or stat drops and is the default tires of the Standard Kart. The Standard tires return in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with the series logo printed on it.

The Standard tires also return in Mario Kart Tour, used by the Biddybuggy, Blue Biddybuggy, Green Kiddie Kart, Red Kiddie Kart, Royale, Poltergust 4000, Streamliner, Koopa Clown, Red Streamliner, Blue Seven, Red Standard 8, Green Standard 8, Wild Wing, Double-Decker, Sports Coupe, Orange Streamliner, Paintster, Snow Skimmer, and Jade Hop Rod. A red version is used by the Wild Black, Black Kabuki Dasher, Crawly Kart, Crimson Hop Rod and Cleanup Hitter, a silver version is used by the Pink Wing and Decal Streamliner, a pink version is used by the Cat Cruiser, and a white version is used by the Pinch Hitter. There is also a Mario Kart Wii variant used by the B Dasher Mk. 2 and the Inferno Flyer, and a Super Mario Kart variant, which is used by the Pipe Frame, Mushmellow, Super Blooper, Zucchini, B Dasher, Black B Dasher, Kabuki Dasher, Wildfire Flyer, Swift Jack, Bumble V, and Red B Dasher. The SNES variant also has a pink gold version which is used by the Rose Queen, a silver version which is used by the Silver Bullet Blaster, and a pixelated version which is used by the 8-Bit Pipe Frame.
