Magical Catch is a special ability in Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers. Only Magikoopas can use this ability. The Magical Catch allows Magikoopas to grab balls from a distance, much like Yoshi's Tongue Catch and Birdo's Suction, but with less range, and slower execution. Magikoopa's Magical Catch almost never fails to catch the ball.
The Magical Catch returns in Mario Super Sluggers with the exact function. No scout missions revolve around Magical Catch because it is used by one of Bowser's minions.
