Unlike normal boards on Party Mode, there are no stars to collect on the board, no special events, and no minigames at the end of each round, though landing on a Bowser Space can still trigger a Bowser minigame should he pick "Bowser Game". Each player starts with 100 coins, and the goal is to have the highest coin total before the end of the game. To do that, there are many Mushroom Spaces and Item Shops around, where the players can get Mini Mushrooms, Super Mini Mushrooms, or other items to utilize Gates to avoid the Red Spaces and Bowser Spaces at the top of the board, and to steal coins from other players.
