The game involves players swinging from bar to bar to earn points. The point totals are increased by the amount of times the player swings on one bar. There are two types of bars: green bars, which the player can earn up to four points on, and pink bars, which multiply the amount of points earned. At the end of the stage, the goal appears; landing on it earns the player 10 points. By grabbing onto other players while they are swinging, the number of points per swing is multiplied.
After the characters are introduced, the four characters are picked up and sent to the sky by four [[sonicretro:Chao|Chao]]. To earn points, players need to spin the characters around green and pink bars with some bars even moving. Green bars only give one point four times, while pink ones gives two points eight times. By grabbing onto other players while they are swinging, the number of points per swing is multiplied. At the end of the stage, the goal appears. If the player lands on it during the final countdown, they earn 10 points.
