Black Fairies[1] are dark fairies that appear in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They are projectiles fired from the mouths of Tar Men and Tar Fish that fly for a short time before forming into a Black Fairy Attack[2] and flying toward Donkey Kong. If he touches a Black Fairy Attack, he loses beats (a heart in the New Play Control! version). However, if Donkey Kong uses the Sound Wave Attack to deflect the attack toward the Tar Man or Tar Fish, it damages the enemy. They continue to launch the attack for Donkey Kong to deflect it three times and defeat them.
