Artwork for "Pucka"
  • The name "Pucka Jr." comes from a Donkey Kong Land preview in Nintendo Power, which also featured an unused fish known as Pucka. Artwork and a screenshot of Fangfish was used next to the "Pucka Jr." label, while artwork slightly similar to this fish was associated with Pucka, though the fish in the artwork appears longer, and the accompanying description states the fish was to be even larger than what became Fangfish. Due to the similar fin position, it is possible that the small fish in the final game was repurposed from this larger fish's design.
