Not to be confused with Stinger.

Template:Species-infobox Stingas[1] are flying insect enemies from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They attack Donkey Kong by flying towards him if he gets too close; contact with them causes him to lose beats. However, if Donkey Kong uses the Sound Wave Attack, they are defeated. Donkey Kong will get one beat for every Stinga he defeats that gets close enough. In some levels, there are Stinga Combs[2] that, upon clapping at them, reveal several Stingas.

Stingas appear in several kingdoms throughout the game. An alternative kind of Stingas called Armored Stingas also appear in the Durian Kingdom; using the Sound Wave Attack causes them to turn into normal stingas, which can then be defeated.
