An Antigravity Panel is a panel that appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The panel is blue with a circle pattern on it and activates the Kart's Anti-gravity mode when driven over. Unlike Dash Panels, the panels do not provide any sort of speed boost when driven over, and only work in one direction, reversing the effect if driven over in the opposite direction, however in certain courses the panels work both ways, such as N64 Toad's Turnpike. The panels also do not need to be directly touched to affect the player, and can be activated by simply jumping or gliding over them, like the one present at the entrance to the thundercloud in Cloudtop Cruise. The amount of time for which the effect of the panels is active also varies from course to course, depending on the length of the portion of the track where players are required to remain in Anti-gravity, and the effect will often end by itself as opposed to requiring another panel to be driven over. Characters will also only occasionally react vocally to driving over a panel, whereas they will always react to any other type. The panels are included in both nitro and updated retro courses, but are not always required for a Kart to enter anti-gravity, as courses that fully take place in anti-gravity, such as GCN Baby Park do not feature the panels at all.

An Antigravity Panel is a panel that appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The panel is blue with a circle pattern on it and marks the beginning of Anti-gravity sections. It must be noted that the activation of anti-gravity mode does not rely on these panels, as it is simply activated when going in parts of the track that require it, as can be noted when driving backwards in tracks such as Mario Circuit. Therefore, their function is merely informative and unlike Dash Panels, the panels do not provide any sort of speed boost when driven over. It must be noted that characters only shout or speak the first time they activate anti-gravity mode the first time and thus do not actually react to the panel. The panels are included in both nitro and updated retro courses, but courses that fully take place in anti-gravity, such as GCN Baby Park do not feature the panels at all.
