Electroids are only present in the Factory area of Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and later return in only one level of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. In the former, they move near holes and narrow tunnels that the Kongs must pass. In Switcheroo, some Electroids hover in front of reversible walls initially seen in the background. The enemies can be pushed over and eliminated if the said walls are extended out of their slots.
