Tsutanōmen

Tsutanōmen (ツタンオーメン[1][2]) are enemies in the game Donkey Kong for the Game Boy. They resemble living statuettes, adorned with pharaoh headcloth, and are exclusive to stage 5-12 of the Desert. In that level, Tsutanōmen are used by Donkey Kong as pseudo-projectiles and are hurled at Mario. Once they land on a platform and get up on their small feet, Tsutanōmen enemies begin to walk around and cause Mario to lose a life if the latter character runs into one of them. In order to defeat Donkey Kong, which is mandatory to pass the aforementioned stage, Mario has to pick the Tsutanōmen up as he hops on them and throw them at the giant ape, who has to suffer three hits before leaving the area resigned. The Tsutanōmen themselves can be defeated by getting launched into other members of the same species or into Donkey Kong.
