Mīra (ミイラ[1]) are undead enemies, self-described as living mummies, encountered in Donkey Kong for the Game Boy. They first and only appear in stage 5-2 of the Desert. Mīra have the same behaviour as Akuaman enemies, as they shuffle continuously on the platform they reside, only changing direction after meeting a wall or the edge of the said platform. Mario will lose a life whenever he runs into their front or back side. They can be stood on, and they can be picked up and thrown to other places. Launching a Mīra at another defeatable enemy knocks both of them out. Mīra enemies are also vulnerable to hammer assaults.
