Two sea creatures surrounding Diddy
Sea creatures[1][2] are underwater foes in the classic Game Boy game, Donkey Kong Land. These commonly found enemies first appear in the second world, Kremlantis, and return in numerous other underwater levels in the same game.
When attacking, a sea creature will clap its mantle together and propel itself upwards. After it reaches a point high enough, it will slowly begin to sink. If a Kong touches this enemy while it is moving throughout the water, he gets damaged and passes out, leaving the other playable buddy, if any, do his job. Sea creatures are oftenly found around several other members of the same species in tight spaces, strategy which increases the difficultly of the levels.
