Template:Levelbox Stage 1-4 is the fourth level of the Big-City and the actual fourth level overall in Donkey Kong for the Game Boy. It is also the first actual level of the game in which Donkey Kong is first encountered and so does not have any of Pauline's lost items.

Layout

The level contains mostly platforms and ladders. There are no enemies except Donkey Kong, who will cause the player to lose a life if they get near him. To reach Pauline, the player must climb up to her while avoiding the debris that fall every time Donkey Kong stomps. If the player gets hit by any of them, Mario will become stunned for a short while. Template:BoxTop
